IF I COULD READ MINDS

                                   If I could read minds, 
                       I would erase all negative thoughts, 
                       Wherever I found them, 
                       And fill the void with positive ones. 

                       Would replace hatred with love 
                                   Cruelty with kindness,                                                                            Selfishness with generosity,
                        Revenge with forgiveness.

                       Despair with  hope  and joy, 
                       Sadness with cheerful moods, 
                       Enmity with friendly feelings, 
                        Egotism with modesty.          

                        And it's my strong belief that, 
                        With such change occurring, 

                         We shall  have every chance,
                        To evolve into higher beings.
