' Son 'rise ...... August 10

I shall never forget that rainy August day, 

When I got blissfully elevated, 

To the most rewarding status, 

Called ' Motherhood '!

Nine months of pregnancy,

And thirty-six hours of labour pain, 

Had sapped all my strength,

 Leaving me almost exhausted.

              But all my travails vanished in the thin air,              

When the nurse came smiling, 

 And gently placed by my side, 

The most prized gift of life, 

My first child! 

A bundle of joy literally, 

 , A miraculous extension of my own, 

A unique gift of God, 

A source of pride forever,

  Making me feel on cloud nine !!!

                                         A little word to name a person
                                               With a life and career
                                            Immensely  challenging
                                                  And meaningful .

                                        And it is my  indelible belief
                                        That every letter in the word
