It's not easy to locate the Moon,
When the sky from end to end,
Is bathing in the dazzling light,
Of the sun on its routine round.
Has the moon vanished from the sky?
Has it lost its silver shine forever?
One wouldn't like to imagine that,
Even in the worst of nightmares.
We know it is forever present,
Somewhere in the endless cosmos,
Moving steadily on its journey,
That continues without a pause.
Both the Sun and the Moon,
Travel in the endless space,
Taking their turns amicably,
Never crossing each other's ways.
The one, an endless fount of light,
Sustaining life through the day,
The other, dispelling darkness,
From the mysterious folds of night.
Though both are truly adorable,
With their pride of place in the space,
The Moon enthrals me even more, With its calm and cool semblance.
Its ever-changing appearance,
Putting on an elegant show,
That seems different every time,
In shape, colour and glow.
And all around the world,
It's the ultimate symbol of beauty,
Adorned with a unique grandeur,
That lends it a pristine glory!
