Thus Spake The Rose ....
;
" There are no roses without thorns "
                                                   Is an oft- quoted proverb
Underlining the need to face challenges
                                                    For gaining anything worthwhile

But there is another vital message
                                                  We would love to communicate
That can change the face of the world
But is seldom or never practised .

It is to be respectful to one another
                                                      While passing through life's journey
And give the world the best we can
Before reaching our own destination .

Yes , we , the roses and thorns
Do share space in the same  bush here
And do  that   quiet amicably too
Without being intolerant of each other

We know it is mean and unwise
 To be selfish and dominant
As the Creator gives us equal chance
To maintain our own existence .

Not as rivals , or as enemies
Not as superiors  or inferiors
But as complements to each other
As neither can be perfect all by itself

And we are  happy to live like this
  Co-ordinating  with  each other
Never fighting or demeaning  anyone
With goodwill for all ,our existence we share .

And we love to live this way
Because it's peaceful and rewarding
To ourselves and the onlookers around
Making life  a celebration for  everyone !

Wonder why you humans don't understand
Such  a simple principle  of life
That  it's always wiser to nurture
Mutual harmony , love and care !
 .
