HOPE --- The Best Buddy

Hope is the little bird

                                    That nestles close to you
                                  Sings sweetly ever and anon
                                   Though  hidden from view

                                 You only need  to  feed it 
                                 With all the good you feel
                                 And listen to what it says
                                 Whenever you are depressed

                                 It never leaves you alone 
                                 When you are in need of strength 
                                 In the midst of tough struggles,
                                 Or caught in stormy weather 

                              So let it dwell in your heart 
                               As long as you  can  do
                               For it is never, ever easy
                               To find a friend so true !
